He is currently Hereditary Prince of the House of Leiningen. He is a maternal nephew of Prince Ernest August of Hanover. He shares a birthday with Princess Beatrice of York & Timothy Taylor, son-in-law of The Duke and Duchess of Kent.

He married Viktoria Luise Prizessin von Preussen (that's right-Princess Viktoria Luise of Prussia) in a civil ceremony in April 2017, and will marry religiously in September 2017 {Source}
